How much does it cost?
Workers are free forever.
If a Principal Contractor (PC) has signed up, then any Subcontractor (PCBU) doing SWMS for that PC is free.
If a PCBU is using SWMS for their own business and has two or fewer active SWMS, it is free. For access to more SWMS and extra reporting functionality, there is a small fee.
Is the custom information I enter available for me the next time I create an SWMS?
Yes, when you duplicate the SWMS all your custom controls and any new content will be carried over to the new SWMS. SimpliSWMS will review the custom content regularly, to ensure industry best practice information is always updated on the platform.
What if the worker has no phone or doesn't want to use their phone to be registered into an SWMS?
We have two options available for this. The first is assisted mode where a worker can contact his/her supervisor and complete the SWMS on another device (e.g. a supervisor's phone). The other is a kiosk mode which can be run from a tablet or desktop where they can complete the SWMS.
Can I trial the software first?
Yes! You can try the software for free! Once you are comfortable with the basic system, you can enable extra features such as a dashboard and revisions for a small free fee, please refer to the pricing page for details. Alternatively, contact us for a demo.
What it cost if I want to use it without an invitation from the Principal Contractor
This depends on how many active SWMS you have at one time and what simpliSWMS functionality you require for your business. Please refer to the pricing page for more information.
Is simpliSWMS an App?
simpliSWMS is not an app but is instead a web-based platform. This means that you do not need to download anything and the software works from any device (all iPhones and Android Phones) with internet access.
Who else is using the platform?
Many Principal Contractors and Subcontractors are already using the platform. Our mission is to make this software the industry standard when it comes to SWMS ensuring one system can be used across all organisations.
What about the Regulator?
We have developed this application with feedback from SafeWork NSW, the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner, and a number of industry bodies to ensure we create a simple framework that adheres to the WHS regulations across Australia.
How do I get access to my SWMS if the job finished years ago?
The information in simpliSWMS is kept and available for 7 years. After 7 years it will be archived and available for a small fee. All of the data in the simpliSWMS platform is backed up by systems based in Australia.
